This is a small site created for Priority Credit Recovery, which is a fully licensed commercial collection agency in Canada. The sole purpose of this site was to target US companies with accounts receivables or debt collection in Canada.
The website needed to be optimized more for Google.com or the US, as opposed to Google.Ca or Canada. Even though the site would be small, they had a very specific target market.

We needed to go with highly targeted keywords-phrases to get any impact with such a small website. The website content had to be more factual in nature, with references to actual legislation. This combination meant incorporating Long Branch phrases to pick up additional natural traffic. In the case of this site, we knew traffic would be generated by users searching Long Branch questions like, "how do I collect debt in Canada".
This site was meant more as an informational site, as the main message was that a US company specializing in debt collection must be registered to do business legally in Canada. The website is more intended to inform US companies what the actual situation is when collecting debt in another country, like Canada.

From an SEO perspective, and considering the small size of the web site, content and optimization was time consuming. The content had to be scrutinized for accuracy due to the nature of advice being given.
We created a design that caught the user's attention and encouraged them to call, request information or visit the main site. The website also had to convey the warning of the potential liability for a Client using a collection agency in Canada that isn't licensed properly.
We targeted some of the following phrases and numerous Long Branch variations:

As far as the Client being happy with the results, they had us immediately rebuild their new site.
